Gas gauge prob

    Also on my 99 tahoe the fuel gauge dont work. It is sitn on E all the time? It is bagged so the tank got relocated to the rear of the vehicle and the guy i got it from said he thinks its a tank out of a 2 door tahoe. Any pointers to where to start thanks

    You may need to find info on the 2 door's gas pump and tank sender.

    It could be the sending unit or the stepper motor that moves the needle in the instrument cluster

    Here are some diagrams for the 2 door tank. First is the sending unit second is the lines.
