I was wondering how much would a 2 to 3 inch suspion lift effect the gas milage on my truck. I have a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado z71 Ext-cab 350 with 3.73 gears. I have a volant cold air intake and a true dual cherry bomb extreme exhaust. I get out of it now 15 miles to the gallon. And i put about 300 miles on a week. Also i am going to be keeping stock tires which are 265 75 16 BF goodrich all terrians. Thanks in advance

If you don't add taller tires, your mileage will go down a little due to more air flow under the truck. I wouldn't think it would be a big drop though.

1-2 especially if you get big wheels, you might have to regear also.

IF you put 3 to 4 hundred miles on a week you will realize to try to keep the best milage you can get.

if you out big tires than it will go down like 2 or 3 but the lift shouldnt do that much damage to your milage
