My gauge cluster has been acting up for a long while. Oil pressure rarely goes up. Speedometer is inaccurate more often then not.
Whats the best way to go with this, send it in for repair, buy one of those diy repair books for gauge clusters, or just order a brand new one and call it a day?
When replacing this cluster with a new one, is there any programming required, and do replacements typically come with programming/set-up info?

    Thank you in advance

Search around online. there is a place in Texas that does a complete rebuild (lights and stepper motors) for around $130. You can repair it yourself. I have seen the stepper motors for around $12 each online. I am not sure if a new one needs programmed or not. If they do then you would need a dealer to do it. If it was me, I would sent it out and have it done or do it yourself. I would not put a new one in.
