gearing

    i have 3.42 gears and was thinking about going to some 3.72s. do i have to replace the front gears also? i dont know much about gears and all so any help would be great

    Yep you need to do the front gears too. Otherwise when you run it in 4 wheel drive the front and the rear axles will want to spin at different rates. This causes all kinds of problems.

    Yeah you have to do both. It doesn't have to be too expenisive buy labor will cost you. You can find some 3.73's on accuautoparts.com for about 140 a set but you'll have to buy probly 2 master install kits as well there about 75 bucks a piece and install will run you between 450 and 900.. So I'd say you'll be looking at around 1100 bucks. Hope this helps :great:

    thanks guys. this help me decide to wait for a while. id rather spend the money on other mods for horse power and off road ability. but thanks again
