I've got a budget and it isn't that large. Talking $200 to $300. What would be the best modification to help boost the performance of my truck?

Cold air intake will start the fire. Best mod I ever did on our 2001 Suburban w/5.3, night and day difference.

    General Mods?

I also have 05 Z-71. Biggest mod as Diablo Programmer. Its alittle more than your budget but as you add future engine mods you can adjust the programmer for those mods.

Thanks guys. I'm thinking the CAI is what I'll end up going with...

E3 plugs , TBI spacer, and a K&N air filter will get you started well for probably less than your budget.

CAI, but don't go cheap on it. Remember you get what you pay for, so don't grab one of those weird brands that only the store owner has heard of. Let us know what you do, and if possible post some pics.

Just made the purchase today, should get it by Thursday and hopefully (weather permitting) have it installed by the weekend...

Will post pics and what not.
