My son installed the base plate on my truck this afternoon. He also wired it for the tow lights. He didn't take very long and it looks great. I needed to get that done so I can get " on the road ". I have to get the motor home inspected and "serviced", then it will be ready. I don't know where I will go, but I am ready to make a trip to somewhere!

Base Plate? For a 5th wheel? I thought you were taking the motor home..

The "base plate" ties the front frame rails together and has the mounting point for the tow bar.
