    Am installing the 3yr or 100,000.mile warranty transmission in my 1996 ck1500 with 176000.mile on it.Should i use the regular transmission fluid or should i go with the synthetic type fluid?If the later which type of synthetic thanks in advance

    Use what the mfg recommends to protect your warranty. After the warranty period use your preference. Who knows, you may find that the mfg recommends synthetics.

    I'm ok with synthetic use, but I am currently running conventional lubricants in all my vehicles.

    i would go with synthetice, conventional is good.
