GM: Bailout repayment could take years

    General Motors' new CEO says it's likely to take a couple of years for U.S. taxpayers to get their bailout money back.

    Always wonder why they called this a bailout when the automotive companies are on the hook to pay the money back and until then... the US tax payers own a controlling interest in the company. Now the bankers (and insurance companies) got bailed out and were handed a clean slate. I wish they (PR wire) would distinguish between the two.

    On a positive note, I heard Comcast cable topped the list for America most hated company and the automotive companies have slipped quietly off the list:

    yup comcast blows.........theyre a bunch of crooks.

    and i thought gm was well on their way to paying us (not really, just the money hungry gov't) back
