GM says it doesn’t need $2B from government

    General Motors Corp.’s chief financial officer says the company will not need the $2 billion loan installment for March that it requested from the U.S. government in February.

    In all honesty, I think that it is just a ploy to boost confidence in GM. Similar to what I believe citi just pulled the other day when reporting the pforifts for the first two months of this year.

    I don't think that they can bluff if a company is profitable or not??? Especially when it comes to investors? I'm not sure though...
