Overhauled motor at just under 200,000 mi. I had some sludge in the lifters. I was told it needed to overhaul but when it was apart in pieces. I was asked by the mechanic, why are you overhauling this motor.......! Anyway. Its ok and running fine ...
Now my CD changer has gone bad... I looked inside and found a broken gear. I am looking to buy a new mechanism for the radio. :great:

Welcome to the forum. The after market stereos are so much better than the originals. Have you though of just changing out the original ? Check out cruchfield, they have many choices.
