good VIN decoder...

    does anyone know of any, or used a good VIN decoder website or program. i want to know if my 99' tahoe came with the sport package or z71, because its all black/monotone, with the red outlined bowtie. its 4wd 2dr. thanks

    vin wont tell you that. you need to look up the RPO codes, i dont have one for Tahoe's if it was a Camaro I could help

    Someone posted a list of RPO codes in the Suburban forum.

    You could also put GM RPO codes into your favorite search engine and I'm sure you'd find something.

    The code list is long, I think it’s 190 pages for all of them. There is a decoder online but you have to input each code.
