Got hit by a FORD...

    Just saw a friend who got hit slightly in the rear and he missed the bumper being bent where the chrome piece meets the center step.

    I heard from the insurance adjuster yesterday...He came by and looked at my truck. They're covering a repair to the bed, right behind the bumper on the passenger side, and replacing the bumper lol. I told the guy that the bed damage was already there, and he said that I should accept the repair considering it's free, and he's putting it on the damage report anyways hahaha. So I get to go back home this weekend, make sure the frame isn't messed up and get my friend to quote me for the repairs.

    I hit a deer going 85 in West Texas in my 2000 Chevrolet in 2003. I had a Ranch Hand on the front and all it did was shift the grill guard 1" on the passenger side lol. Their old pitch used to be "You can hit a deer going 60 with one of our grill guards in place and it will not damage your truck." Apparently, the story is that they had to change their slogan because people were trying it lol.
