Gray and Silver are not the same thing, but they look very similar. Good looking color for this body style, IMHO.

I'm with yuh Steve!!! I really like silver trucks too. But I would choose a Charcoal Gray truck over a silver,or "regular" gray truck any day.

You are right about the difference between silver and gray. My truck is Graystone Metallic.

    Grey is the new black!!

I've just started working on this. I gave it a year to give it a proper shakedown and see what's what.

I bought this '91 K1500 with 98k on the odo and barely had a bit of rust on it. I'm the third owner, and I bought it from the son of the original owner. The Old Man babied it, and the Son didn't have it long enough to do anything with it. So far, the only fixing I've had to do was misc crap that just "goes" after time. It's been more than reliable and dependable! I think the glove box door was the most expensive fix ($140 :gasp: from LMC!) I've had to make until just a few weeks ago when the clutch started to slip. I bought a rebuilt 5sp on CL for less than it would take to rebuild mine!! $300! :great: 1st and 2nd was starting to make some noise and I didn't even want to know why so when I came across that ad I jumped all over it! I had to drop the tranny to fix the clutch anyways. I've started on the misc rust spots, pulled out the drop in plastic bedliner the day it came home so there was minor sanding there. I've put in a Herculiner roll on bed liner on it. Mixed feelings on the results with that product. I'm building a custom metal tonneau cover. I'm in it for $300 for materials, $230 for the aluminum diamondplate! That sucked, kinda wished I went with sheetmetal but oh well. Didn't think to far into it before purchasing the materials. I'm gonna get that together this weekend or next week, depending on the rain. I will post some pics when it's all done! Lift kit, engine work and new wheels are all on the list of things to do, the typical daily driver stuff . I'll repaint stock color when I'm all done, it's got that typical paint issue of all stock paint jobs of that era.
