My parents were kind of like that one time, I was 8 years old at the time. It was my parents 8th anniversary and my mom was driving her favorite car from when she was in high school, 70' Nova with the blue flame V-6 and dad was supposedly at work. Mom had her eye on the all new 1990 Lumina Eurosport 2 door in fire engine red, well dad ordered one in 1989 and finally it came in the summer of 1990. Dad made up a story about some parts coming in that he had to go pick up, so of course mom rode along. When we pulled in the dealer it was sitting on the showroom floor with a "SOLD" tag on it, mom basically ran over to it and almost ran the sales man over. She didn't know it was ours, but it was the first one any of the dealer guys had seen either in the 2 door. When the salesman handed her the keys she started crying, we still have the car to this day in factory condition with 10,000 miles on it. It really is a beautiful looking and riding car, great story Steve! :great:
