Discussion in 'General Chevy & GM Tech Questions' started by Appliancepresident, Apr 2, 2009.

  1. 4wd acuator on a 1997 chevy Cheyenne k2500 pickup?
if so do I need to use the spacer that came in the upgraded harness kit?

My old acuator was 2 wire the new 600-101 has a 5 pin socket that uses 3 wires and the kit came with a spacer but not sure if I need it for my truck , since it listed Burbons, Silverado etc.. but did not list cheyenne specific

    THANKS
  2. wow no one has done this here ..on a 97 cheyenne I am shocked
  3. Well to answer my own question, YES the spacer is needed when using a 600-101 acuator on a 1997 chevy K2500 p/u

I installed it today along with a new 1/2 axle complete, new brakes, rotate tires, and rear U-joint
