My name is Eddie and im in the Air Force. I am currently stationed at Dyess AFB in Texas, but will be moving to Dover AFB Delaware next week. I have a 2005 Silverado 1500 LS Ext Cab 8 Ft Bed with the 5.3. I am an engine mechanic on C-130's right now, but will be working on C-17's in Dover. I have been in the Air Force for 3 1/2 years now and plan on making a career out of it.

Welcome aboard. Thanks for your service. How do you like working on C-130s. Those are some big planes. How does the C-17 compare?

C-17's are massive in comparison to c-130's and they have a totally differant type of engine. i am excited to move cause the C-17 doesnt hardly break at all compared to the C-130

Sounds accurate to this day, miserable rides, unless your in the flight deck, and one of the perks of working on them is being able to sit in the flight deck during flight
