Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Im Jim I live in WV and I have a 1988 K1500 4x4 long bed extra cab that Im going to restore somewhat and put back on the road.
This was my work truck when I was a GC and its been sitting for about 2 years now. I dont have alot to do to it actually but so far here are the planned fixes and upgrades.
    New tires
Paint (Ordered the rear wheel arch patch panels already, got some rust there)
Headers ( I have a cracked manifold and thought Id go with headers for some power and hopefully mileage)
Seats or covers (got the buckets in there now)
All over general lube and fluids

Im sure Ill be doing some other things but thats about all I really need to get back on the road.
I am having a problem with the 4x4 right now but some web searching has revealed that more than likely the thermal actuator has crapped out on me. Ill be looking into that today hopefully.

Well thats about it guys, looking forward to meeting some new friends here and hopefully learn a thing or two!!

    Thanks!!

    Jim
