    Hello,

My name is Stephen, I own a 2000 sls gmc jimmy with the 4.3l vortec. I'm just getting ready for college and want to put a little more horsepower in it. I have the biggest sizes tires on it i can without them rubbing. They are grabber AT2, Great tire! It is not a zr2.
I want it to be able to tow a trailer with the max two sled or four wheelers. Maybe a car or to on the trailer. I'm open to any suggestions and want to learn a lot more than I know about the best parts for this vehicle.

    Thanks
    Stephen

Welcome!! Unfortunatley, I cannot answer your question, but you may want to check out some of other theads on this site, as I am sure this topic has come up before. For my truck, I changed the air intake and exhaust. I have also hear the computer chips work well, but have not explored that road yet (too many other things I want to do first). Good luck!

Welcome to the GMTC! I may not understand exactly what you are asking, but the larger tire you run (over stock) the less power you will have unless you change your gears to compensate for the increased load. Good luck!
