Help with upper control arms

    Hello i have a 1994 gmc 2wd half ton and I need to replace the upper control arms. Can someone give me a few tips on this repair? i have all the tools and my friend is going to help me Im buying new ones is it pretty straight foward repair? Thats new ones with ball joints. sorry. I know I need a alignment after. The mechanic's price was way to much money. Thanks. By the way im brand new to this Forum I really like it.

    No a pretty much straight forward repair, make a note on any shims or spacers you remove and practice safe jacking and jack stand placement techniques if you arent using a lift.

    Thanks for your reply and the TIP about the shims. Yes sir I always practice saftey with jack stands.
