How do I remove the factory hinge pins from my 2001 gmc yukon xl 2500

    i dont see any bolts or anything so do i have to grind them off or what?

    No, they should just drive out. If you're replacing the pins & bushings because of wear, you don't even have to disconnect all the wireing, or the friction stop, or take the doors off. Just rope them to the rafters in your garage to support the weight, & you can replace the pins & bushings with the door in place.

    Thanks guys I didn't realize this got posted I'm sorry. I bought a dorman kit a few months ago but it has worn out already. Does anyone have experience with the total automotive kit? It looks pretty good to me. I just dont want to waste the $110 on it
