Have a 2003 Yukon XL, 1/2 ton 4WD, 5.3, 3.73 rear end with the heavy duty trailering package. Going to purchase a travel trailer. Will the Yukon XL pull a travel trailer with dry weight(shipping weight) of 7100 lbs, probably would be close to 7600 lbs. loaded with water, food, clothing.

Look in your owners manual. My 97 burb 5.7 4x4 1/2 ton 5.7 with 3.73 is rated in the owners manual for 6000 pnds.Seems like 7600 would be high, but they possibly upped the tow capacity on the newer ones, not sure.
