How much weight can the third door/hinges handle?

I have a 2002 GMC Sonoma ext cab with the third door and I was wondering how much weight it and the hinges can hold? I owned an ext cab toyota before this truck and I turned the cavities below the rear side windows into 10" sub boxes and would like to make the third door into a box for a 10" sub.
Will the third door handle this project?
    Thanks in advance.

What is the weight of the sub-woofers you want to use? It seems to me that it should not be a issue for a 10-15 lb component.

The sub woofer is 12.25lbs and I am going to guess I will have the same amount of weight in wood and fiberglass

You might be starting to push it on weight. I suppose it might not be to bad if your not sitting around all weekend with the doors open.
