How to disconnect EVAP charcoal canister hoses

    If this has already been answered, my search kung-fu wasn't strong enough to find it.

    I can't figure out how to disconnect the two small hoses that go to the EVAP canister. I've never seen these connectors before and I'm afraid of breaking them. I'm attaching a pic of the connectors. My phone doesn't have auto-focus, so that's the best I can get at the moment.

    Like Al, I also had to cut mine. It was so clogged up that the cut was followed by a big whoosh of air.
