There is no third seat. Will the same interior in a 1500 work in the truck, and where in NJ should I look to buy a complete interior to put in my truck.

    Thanks for your help.

    I just purchased her.

I am going to guess the interior from a 1500 will work being that they are the same model year. As for where in New Jersey to get he complete interior, I cannot say. There are a lot of ways to do the interior. I would look at buying the seats from a yard and purchasing after market carpets. You can cover cloth seats with leather using after market kits but they are usually designed for cloth seats. Was this a work truck? Vinyl is typically offered in the work truck. If you are wanting to upgrade the complete interior and it is a work truck then you have to either find the interior that matches the options you have or upgrade to power windows and door locks.

Upgrading a K2500 work suburban to a nicer interior..

The K2500 that I have was a work truck owned by State Police

The 2002 Suburban is a k2500 work truck, with manual windows etc.
It has the dark blue vinyl interior, two bucket seats in the front, and
a bench in the center, but it does not have the third row seating in the

What I'd like is to find out what kind of interior (I'd prefer a factory
Grey leather interior). Do I need the doorpanels to run the seats or
are the seat controls on the seats themselves?

Seat controls are on the seats themselves with the exception of the heaters in the heated leather seats... The heater buttons are on the door panels.

and unless it already has the mounting places in the floor for a 3rd seat it won't be easy to add....

So I need mounting plates when I get the other seats as well? It is the base suburban with the manual crank windows

Yes that's the idea to find a wrecked truck buy all 3 rows of seats, the center console, and the brackets for the floor boards on the 3rd row from the truck...

This is what the rear area looks like, it is a black vinyl mat, any suggestion on how to clean this to get it looking better, and what are the brackets up against the second row of seats on the floor? I'll post a pic as I cant figure out how to attach the image here
