I have a question about simple mods to my silverado

I have a 1993 Chevrolet Cheyenne 4WD with a 4.3L and a 5 speed manual trans. It is completely stock with a little less than 57,000 original miles. I noticed an oil leak in the front of the intake that I'm fairly certain can be fixed by simply replacing the gasket. However, I have some money together and I'm considering replacing the intake manifold, lifters, push rods, and camshaft with aftermarket replacements. Is there any brands anyone would recommend? I am still in college so I need the truck as a daily driver but I'm not too concerned with mpg as long as I keep it at least 10-12mpg. Also someone mentioned a 1" throttle body spacer might be beneficial and maybe porting and polishing the throttle body? Any advice about any part of my upcoming project would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for reading my post,
