Hello everyone! I am looking to change out my factory receiver for an In-Dash GPS/Stereo. I have been looking at reviews for Pioneer, JVC, Alpine, and Kenwood, but wanted to get your actual feedback. I would be looking at one of the higher end models, and an example would be:

    Kenwood Excelon DNX9980 HD
    Alpine INA-W910
    Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT

    Any advice, or feedback?

my buddy has the Kenwood and he loves it...i was checking out the AVICs and almost bought it, but found a Dual (brand) from Crutchfield that was half the i bought that...but as with anything, you get what you pay is a nice unit...3 years installed...isn't as nice as the AVIC though...if i had the money, i would've gone the AVIC route though...just my $.02...good luck...

I picked up the 9980 HD a few weeks back and absolutely love it. Have had no problems so far and installation was a breeze. I spent a lot of time researching before I made my purchase and everywhere I looked said that the 9980 HD had the best mix of sound quality and high quality features which is why I picked it up. Let me know if you have any specific questions about the head unit.

What are the options for each one? Maybe show some pics to help decide.

If you want the Best mapping, Ease of use, Great High volt out put's and good sound? Kenwood is the way to go...Hands down....I have sold them all and it is the best out there.....

I have JVC KW-NT3HDT which was the top model they made, works great have backup camera and subs hooked up to it.
