insterment cluster question

    I have a 2006 chevy 1500 the lights are going out on the speedo are the clusters interchangeable from year to year and model to model?

    The 2003-2006 Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Sierra, Yukon, and Yukon XL clusters are all interchangeable

    Escalade too I believe. And if you find a cluster with a tranny temp guage, that should work as well. I believe all the trucks have the sensor and wiring but just missing the gauge.

    Removing your cluster to replace the bulbs isn't too hard. Plus there are lots of cluster repair folks online that will replace the bulbs, stepper motors, etc. cheaper than buying a new cluster. Plus a new cluster would have to be reprogrammed at a dealer to get the correct odometer reading, etc.
