    Hey everybody just curious if andyone has done an intake manifold swap on their 4.8 with a manifold for say an LS1. If so how easy/hard is it, and what manifold did you use. Thanks

    The hardest part is that you have to change your drive acc. mount on the front of the engine because the LS car intake is shorter. Also the LS intake makes less torque on the bottom end than the stock truck manifold. The LS intake on a basicly stock 4.8 is only good for about 6hp. Lot of work for only 6hp.I would port your stock truck throttlebody and intake manifold first.
