is B106 the proper blank for door/tailgate lock on a 2013 Silverado?

GM has not changed the keys for the 2013, so they are the same.

    Thanks.

Just keep in mind, the B106 blank does not have a transponder (PASSKEY III) If you try to use it in the ignition, the PCM will not provide fuel to the engine.

I have one for my truck; I have a bad habit of carrying keys and tools in the same hand. I have, on a few occasions, locked the "real" key in the truck (used the driver's door lock switch). I carry a B106 to open the lock on the driver's door. It trips the alarm and I need to scramble to find the key and hit unlock on the FOB.
