My name is Mike Burns. I am 21 next Monday. I'm mostly a Chevy guy but I have swayed over the past 5 years. My first truck was 1981 Chevy C10 regular cab, long bed with a straight 6 and an automatic trans. As much of a beater as it was, I miss that old truck. I sold that to put more money into my 1971 GTO (my first car). Then I bougth a 1990 Silverado 2500 2WD with a 454 and an auto trans. Within a few days I traded that even up for a 1985 Ranger. Then I sold that to put more money into my GTO. Then later my dad bought me my first 4x4, a 1993 Cheyenne 1500 with a 4.3L V6 and a 5 speed manual trans. Later I sold that to put more money into my GTO (see a pattern?) From there, I bought a 1999 Mustang, which I sold for a 1990 Nissan 300ZX. I downsized out of that car into my 1990 GMC S15 reg. cab long bed 2WD with a 4.3L V6 and an auto trans. My windsheild wipers stopped working on my way home from work this last big snow storm and I put that one into a guard rail. Finally, this past January 27th, I bought a 2004 Silverado 1500 Z71, extended cab, short bed, 4x4 with a V8 (not sure what Litre) and an auto trans. I am a project coordinator for Pinnacle Energy Home Rennovations. I sell windows, siding, doors, gutters, and roofs. I just recently purchased my first house just south of Lancaster in Quarryville, PA. I look forward hearing from some of the more experienced motor-heads on here!
