Can any tell me where the knock sensor-s are on a 1999 express van 4.3 v6? Thanks gritsboy

On my old 4.3 it was located on the trans mounting flange portion of the block below the oil pressure sending unit. To change it requires removal of the distributor then the oil pressure sending unit then unscrewing the sensor and pull it out.

So in other words, its at the back of the intake manifold.

HOWEVER; this is info from when I changed it on my 97 Silverado. I'm not sure if its in the same location as with the van. I'll see if I can dig up a picture of the location.
