I just uploaded some pics of the tail light mod I did this weekend.

The truck is green and silver so when I saw these lights I had to get them.

They went in without a hitch and looked great BUT there was one issue they did not light up RED so I checked with the police and I was in violation.

I found some red bulbs and put them in and thought Im set now! Wrong! they lit up a orange color and with the police as striched as they are here I couldnt have that.

Wound up with some Jam Straight RED LED 3157 bulbs and they work great!!!

I did try the other brand and they made the whole dash flash when you turned on the turn signal BAD JUJU!

The Jam straight have one issue that all LED light have and that is they dont have as much resistance and the circuit thinks the bulb may be out so they flasher blinks faster. You can get some resistors to put in line and they go back to normal but I can live with it so no cutting or splicing.

Those bulbs are very cool, getting some taillight upgrades myself this weekend so I may need to replace the bulbs also.

Autozone had the bulbs around here and they light up nicely.

If you want to go all out there are some HUGE ones you can get but I dont know if they would fit.

If you are interested in the black bumper lights I have a set for $16 shipped if you want.

I ordered the clear silver off ebay and got black and couldnt get a refund so I ordred a another set from another seller.

Hey, those look pretty cool. I think I've seen a set or two of these going down the road.
