Land Rover Transparent Hood Technology

    That is actaully a really cool idea. But like the article says, it's really only practical for serious off-roaders. I don't think many commuters would need this. In reality, it would be just another distraction for drivers to look at while in heavy traffic but it could be quite useful for off-roading. Either way, it's a really cool idea and nice bit of technology!

    i could see some guy with lots of money putting that on a rock crawler just because he can... lets face it anyone whos smart goes out with at least one other rig so this is pointless in my opinion

    that would be pretty sweet when parking a truck with 38's on it. you can make sure that you are close enough to the car in front of you without rolling over the hood. It would also be great when wheeling and going up steep hills when visibility of the trail is non existent, all you can see is your hood and the sky.
