LED Tail Lights

    Has anyone bought LED tail lights for old body chevys like mine? I want to upgrade mine to LED's

    They make them I know that because I was looking at some for my old 97. But it'd be just like a new truck, you'd have to put a whatchyamacall it on there so the truck doesn't think a light is burned out.

    I believe the term you're looking for is 'load resistor'.

    Or you can do the fronts and rears and purchase a new flasher made for LEDs

    i have installed led light on a utility body but not to fit the origional lights. If you switch to leds you may also have to change the flasher, the leds do not draw enough and it seems like you have a bulb out. At least mine did and the flasher fixed it.
