    I love the old 50's GMC Napcos, would love to find one for a restoration, also 1968 GMC K10 or K20

    Nope, but I still want the question answered to see if having a bed is what makes something a truck, as that'll make for some interesting options if that's the only characteristic required. :)

    This is an example of one such option! If memory serves technically it's a variant of the Corvair van ... with the aft end of the van replaced with a bed. Since it's a modified version of the van I'd tend to class it as a van variant and not as a truck since it wasn't initially designed as such. But it has a bed, so it becomes relevant as to whether having a bed is what makes something a pickup. :)

    1967-72 have always been my favorite...followed by 1983-87.

    Funny, when getting into the wayback machine I tend to like the 1966 C10's.

    i don't know if this qualifies but it is worth a look even though he is in canada.
    a friend of mine had one once never did care for them but now i have a greater appreciation for them
