Hi there I have a guy that is going to sell me a set of green keys for my 09 3500. He tells me these are the ones that are the same as the aftermarket lift sets, He wants $40.00 for the pair but I just want to make shure that the green keys are the ones for making higher then turning the stock ones up? am I on the right path with this, or are these just stock ones. No point in replacing the old ones with the same thing!!!

Thanks guys any help is great, I just figure 40 is better then 250 everone else wants.

im not to sure on the green keys. all the aftermarket lift keys i have ever seen were either black or red and iv seen quite a few considering i used to work at a 4x4 custom shop

and another thing, u could just find someone who has put a level kit on a 99-07 1500. The 1500 stock keys are the same thing as the 2500/3500 aftermarket keys

I wonder if these are from a 1500 then? He was told me you can fit a 33" tire with these

you can fit 33"s without those, all i did was crank my tortion bars and i am running a 33x13.50 with rims that have a huge offset, they stick out like 2in past the stock flares. The NBS have a bigger fenderwell and im pretty sure u can fit a 35" with a leveling kit and some triming

No the NBS sucks for clearance the wheel well is huge in height but as for wide to fit a bigger tire just doesnt work. I have 265s and stock molded mud flaps from the dealer, new 17x9 wheels and they rub!! thats why I want to lift it just to fit the 285/17s

Talked to this guy again and he tells me they are from a 02 1500, he put a set of ford keys in his truck, so I guess these will work from what I have read so far, I am just curious if these will still give me the same hieght as a ready lift kit, if so I am saving $210 plus taxes!!

    Anymore input??? thanks guys.

the 1500 keys have the exact same indexing as the readylift ones, iv held them on top of one another before

awsome, looks like I'll be saving some money then!! now for the back I was going to put 2" blocks in the back, Some people are teliing me the shaclkes are better then block and vise versa. what do you figure the best option? thanks again

And ya my old 03 2500 with a few turns on the keys could fit a way bigger tire and looked way better that way

shackles would be way better, blocks can cause axle wrap
