Most lifted 4x4 spend as much time off road as lifted 2wd. Id bet well over 90% that are street legal are just appearance oriented anyhow. If I lived in a southern state with basically no snow id rock a lifted 2wd.

I'm ready for some change. Tired of having to worry about those parking stall stops or driveways. I get a lot of great ideas on this site. One never buys a truck for gas mileage but it is a concern. How much can I expect to lose going from stock to 35's

If you never go off road, or drive in snow and ice, there's no point in having a 4x4. I need one, being in Canada, and traveling off plowed highways to get to the farm. I had a BDS lift on that truck, one of my new trucks has a procomp lift on it. I definitely preferred the BDS for build quality.
