    lift kit suggestions for a 1992 2dr. tahoe/blazer

I like the Rancho kit for your year truck. It has a weld 1-piece lower subframe and the upper control arm brackets are gussted and reinforced. Some of the cheaper kits dont have this and they flex like crazy.

It depends on what you want to pay for a lift and how big you want to go. I heard fabtech does good but it is a matter of looking at differnt lift types ex. body, spring spacers, or complete suspension lifts, and different companies until you see somthing you like!! good luck

When we bought it the guy had a 8000 pound wench and bruch bumper on it but it stuck out farther then normal and it looked weird... My dad took the wench for his truck so I replced the grill and bumper after he took the wench lol

    1992 2 dr blazer/tahoe pretty cool

I wont use Fabtech on your year truck. On that body style the Fabtech front steering knuckles move the wheel and tire out 2" on each side while the rear stays in the stock locating so you have the fronts sticking way out, it just looks like ass! I like the Rancho for your year truck and it comes either red or black powder coat. Its the same basic kit I have on my Suburban with over 200,000 mile on the lift and no problems. Fabtech is good stuff but your year truck is one off the first 4wd kits they made and like I said it looks like ass. Fabtech started as a 2wd lift company and later got into the 4wd stuff.

the BDS kits are really nice. i used to install them and never had any problems or complaints from anyone. the only thing with the procomp is im pretty sure its a bracket lift and not a spindle lift and it will cost more to install and u have to cut all of your upper control arm brackets off and drill holes in the frame to bolt new ones on. I had a 6in superlift on my old truck, a 2000 sonoma ZR2, and i had nothing but trouble with it cuz if your holes are 1/4 of a inch off then the whole front end is screwed and it will never align straight again. thats why i sold the truck. B&M in lafayette louisiana installed it and they do really crappy work, did know at the time
