Hey guys I have an 03 silverado with the 4.8 in it. I would like to get long tube headers for it but I dont know if they will fit with the rest of the exhaust being stock for now. Some people say they will and others say they wont? I was looking at lpp longtubes but they dont have any in stock, what are some other brands I should look at.

Hedman headers are what i would recommend, two of my friends have them, and have had to alignment problems, or any cracks. Shorty Headers will fit your stock exhaust, just bolt them together. Long tubes will mount your exhaust under the seats almost, so you would need to cut some of your stock exhaust off, and maybe even put some new pipe on.

If you don't want to pay big bucks for ceramic coated headers, just grab up some LTs and have them sent off to JetHot for coating.

Id be buy them coated and rust will eventually eat that as well.. ITs the name of the game up here in the North.
