Trip home i got 19.6 mpg...its not all flat ground either
Still going strong!
Hey you did good with that tuner, so its not the caddi, big deal, its doing what you wanted it to do, I sprung 199 bucks for the range technology device to kill the AFM system, at 100 bucks you got a bargin. And yes, it was worth the coin to me to have V-8 full time, congrats on your find.
Thanks man...its doing what i wanted it to do!...delete AFM
So with all the talk on AFM when you delete it does it void a warranty? Will the dealers disable it if you buy new? And if so what are they charging to delete this? Some good info to those who don't know any better that may buy a vehicle with AFM and don't know the long term affects on the engine over time.
From what I know about Predator, once you remove the tune it SHOULDN'T leave a trace. In the manual it recommends before have any work done detune the vehicle or let the mechanic know it has been tuned
predator's are all dead and gone... they were all discontinued over 2 years ago... plus they do not have tcm/tranny support for 2007 and newer trucks.....
you'd want to get an inTune or Trinity....
and yes, with any of them, as long as you remember to restore the original backup stock tune to the vehicle first before going to a dealer, they can't tell it was tuned...
