I've been having this problem, ABS kicks in for no reason below 10mph....that'll get your heart pumping in stop and go traffic or coming to a red light. My dealer sez there was a recall, but for older model trucks...mine is a 2006....I called GM to see if they were expanding the recall, but they said "No", not enough complaints. Anybody else having this problem should call GM and the NHTSB to make them aware of this being more than just a couple of trucks.....I've heard there are many more out there.

Any recent brake work on the vehicle? Do you have drum or disc on the rear?
The ABS on my 93 would lock up at low speed after a brake job. After some checking, the right rear was locking up and engaging the ABS. Pulled the drum and some brake hardware had come loose. Replaced the shoes and hardware, and ABS working fine now.

I did do front pads recently and the job went without a problem, nothing unusual. The rear are drum brakes, if there was an issue with the fronts starting to lock up it would likely cause a pull....at least a brief pull before ABS kicked in....thats my thoughts.
