So im stuck on this one guys. Cant figure out what im missing as far as a lowering part i havent taken off the front end to be able to clear the 33s the lift allows for. My biggest problem was i never new what was done to lower the truck when i bought it and was only able to guess based off other trucks next to mine.

    replaced:
    upper control arms
    spindles
    shocks
    springs
    shackles
added blocks (not a fan of them)

As of now i am clearing 265/70r17 right now but know 33s wont fit. My plan for this is to use it to tow with in the future.

Was your 4.5" lift measured from stock height or from the height the truck sat when you bought it? Were the 33"s supposed to fit after the lift? If they were then I'd say you didn't get the lift you were counting on and you need to retrace your steps. Did you put on lift spindles and springs along with associated control arms. If so then maybe the 33's are going to require a little more lift to clear. BTW I am not a suspension lift specialist nor do I play one on TV, just an old fart asking questions I think are relevant. :money:

The lift was 4.5 over stock, 33s were supposed to clear but there's just not room in my opinion. Only control arms that we're not replaced we're the lowers.

do the lowers bolt right to the frame like they should or is there some sort of bracket still there from the lowering kit?
