mechanical oil press gauge

    so i got a mechanical oil pressure gauge and i mounted it to my dash and so on I'm not sure where the line for oil should go on the engine block? and where i can run the line through the fire wall as well thanks in advance

    There should be a couple of plugged holes on the drivers side floor board, possibly one where the clutch master cyl would mount up. IF not you can drill a small on in over by the relay panel where the wiring harness goes thru.
    As for where the sensor goes, i honestly have no clue since ive never installed one ive just repaired the stock guage.

    did it come with some brass fittings? Old School chevys the oil sending unit was back by the distributor cap,or down by the oil filter.

    yeah it has a bunch of brass fittings, okay i though about where the sending unit was so ill try that tomorrow or something thanks

    You can tee into the port the factory sender is on. There are other galley plugs you can use also, but I'm afraid I can't give you specific locations.
