Hey guys, Im attempting to install a aftermarket radio in my 04

and i saw a video of a guy who installed one using the chime module and also mentioned a mini antenna adapter for the gm's mini antenna to fit into the radios regular sized antenna adapter. i faintly recall the antenna plug being too small when i initially checked out the unit but this was years ago and was wondering if anyone could confirm this is a necessary piece

also this may go without asking but would the above adapter, or any like it, work simulataneously with a chime saver module by another manufacturer, say scosche particularly as that is the chime module adapter i have purchased.

I had to have a similar adapter for my radio in my old 2000 truck as well to connect my aftermarket multi-disk cd player.
