Just curious how many people have today off work. I do, but this is the first company that I have ever worked for that has taken the day off.

Nothing against the day, but it seems like I JUST got back to work after 6 days off in 5 weeks.

Nov. 26, 27 - Two days off at the end of November for Thanksgiving + 1/2 day on the 25th.
Dec. 24, 25 - Two days off for Christmas (four weeks to the day after Thanksgiving) + 1/2 day on the 23rd.
Jan 1 - One day off for New Years + 1/2 day off on the 31st.

Now it's just 17 calendar days - 10 working day - later and it's time for another day off. I actually like to work and you can only give away so many free holidays before it starts to hurt the bottom line.... that's all I'm saying.
