I have a 2004 1500 5.3L and just installed a 40 series flomaster and it dumps out in front of the right rear tire. Since I installed it about a week ago Ive noticed loss in MPG. Ive read where It could be accelerating faster wanting to hear to exhaust without realizing it. Im just wondering if this is common or is it all in my head. Any help would be appreciated.

probably just from you getting on it a little more so you can hear that new exhaust haha.
I bet once you get back to driving like you used to you'll see an increase in mpg
