Sounds like you got a great deal on the S-10! I've had several in the past. One tha looked a lot like yours was an '88. I put 15" Blazer wheels on it and went with the "pre-runner" look. The last one was a '93 Ext Cab. I went with 15" wheels, Flowmaster exhaust, Rough Country shocks and kept with the "pre-runner" look. You can go either way with yours, as you have a good truck to start with!

i went with kind of a nostalgic muscle car look, tried keeping it fairly simple. the only things on it that don't really look old school are all the clear lights, h4 headlights and my crimson tails.

I agree with suicide_star, I really like the look of his ride.

the only grilles that i really like are either a bravada grille conversion, 90+ grille conversion (requires 90+ radiator support), or a billet grille.

this is my 93 sonoma, all i did with it was a steel cowl hood, clear headlights/signals, and some 2nd gen rims...

What I considered the "pre-runner" look was kind of like GM did when they came out with the ZR2. I don't have and pic's of mine, but I liked the "lifted" vs. "lowered" look. Hope that is a little clearer. Good luck!
