Hey guys and gals, Rick here. I just signed up and I'm looking forward to picking up some good info from here.

So this is my situation. I got an 02 Tahoe LT Flex Fuel and the suspension is ready for some attention. All I'm looking to do is get it back up to where is should be and since I'll have to replace some parts I want to replace them with quality stuff. My driving is not Off Road and I'm not looking to lower or raise the truck.

To be honest I really don't know much about this so I'm all ears. So far I've looked at the Bilstein HD shocks. I also want to replace my bushings with poly one.
Are there any kits you guys would recommend? Again, all new to this so don't assume I know.

    Thanks guys in advance.

    R.

Hey rick, welcome to the site. What are you looking to do with the suspension? Just get to back to stock levels, I assume since it's a 2002 there are some issues with it that need to be repaired?

Tell us more about the Tahoe, how many miles and what's the engine/tranny setup that you have?

    Hey Steve,
My 02 Tahoe LT, Flex Fuel has about 145,000 miles with stock engine and transmission.
My suspension needs normal wear and tear maintenance. When I drive downa dirt road i feel the suspension with a hard thump like i need to repalce my shocks. I also noticed that bushing and ruber parts are dry rotted.
All I'm looking to do is since I'll have to replace some parts I just want to replace them with quality stuff. I'm a pretty aggressive driver, so I want gear that will give me a solid ride and I can drive down a dirt road without having to worry about being delicate.
I'm just looking for some good parts. I hope that makes sense.

    Again thanks
