you should de-badge it, thats a free mod:great:
Wow. It's been a while. Anyways, since the last update on this thread, got this stuff done:
Color matched bumper covers with fogs
Color matched mirror covers
Color matched bumper
Smoked 3rd brake light
Black Billet Grilles
Plastidipped back bumper
and...I think that's about it.
This was a side project that I was working on, but I let it go. =(
That looks sweet. Is that RPCC in the background in Sorrento?
Lol! Yes it is. I live right down the road. Small world.
You aint lying. I'm about to go to the Shell on 22 right there and cut their grass lol good to see some more Louisiana members on here
Sweet. This truck is all over Sorrento/Gonzales/St Amant.

This is my other truck, but it hasn't been on the road for a while.
I think I saw it one day. I used to pass thru Sorrento ALOT but lately not so much. I'm sure I'll see it one day. Gonna try and get a few other people in nearby Mississippi together and meet up somewhere one day.
If any of you guys want to add me on facebook, my page is www.facebook.com/383destroyer
HOLY MOLY!!! you made that truck look really nice... I have a 2008 WT just bought it last week.. still getting some things done.. I had questions for you..
1. Where do I get the Bumper with FOG? Is that a easy install? in terms of wiring for the FOG lights..
2. Did you buy the mirror covers and get em painted? if so where can I find the mirror cover?
3. what does Plastidipped mean?
I would really appreciate if you could please answer these question..
Definitely looking awesome man. Cant go wrong wioth the color match look, looks great on that color scheme
Could you please share how to connected the Fog lamps? it would be really helpful, I am not sure how the wiring goes so you advise would be excellent!
Kayzen, all I did was tie into the regular headlamp circuit with splice connectors and sent them to the coil on a 30A relay. The relay is fused and pulls power directly from the battery and has the fogs on the load side.
Updated pics: New headlights and black billet gas door. More stuff to come...

Sorry, Kayzen, it's been a while since I've posted. The mirror caps came from ebay, already painted. The fog lights and bumper caps also came from ebay. Plastidip is a coating, like a bedliner, sort of...but you can manipulate the texture and it peels off like a decal when you're ready to remove it.
Looks good! Headlights blend nicely with the scheme you've gone with.
Just got some new 265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers!
One day I'll have her on the road. This is a 1954 with a 1950 front clip. It is a 1/2 ton with a 3 speed column shift. It had a five lug rear end from a car, so I replaced it with a six lug 72 Chevy. The motor is the original 54 GMC motor.
Nitto Terra Grapplers, bed cover with gun rack and shiz.
Truly amazing job so far! I was in awe the entire time reading this thread, LOL. I look forward to seeing what you decide to do next!
suicide_star I really admire how far you've come with this truck man. Took a regular w/t and turned it into a real head turner. What are your future plans with it?? Seems like you have most everything done to it by now.
Keep up the awesome work!
You were kidding when you wrote that, right? He can do under hood/tuning work, exhaust work, audio work, lighting work, etc.!
If he's anything like I am, mods just get spendier/more complicated ... not 'done'.
Haha. It wasn't so much of a joke as it was a subtle challenge. Do the mods really ever 'end'?
Separate names with a comma.
