Well I have a 2000 Silvarado Lt with the 5.3 vortec motor. Pretty much stock black leather interior stock wheels after market factory size tires and y pipe with a flowemaster muffler and dual muffler Tips. Got the truck like this; I want to lift it and add some performance to it. Any suggestions on where I should start? I do need to replace the back bumper and fix a minor car accident in front of my rear passenger tire.

I would start with the simple bolt-ons like a CAI and a programmer. I have the Banks CAI, you can see it in my photo album and I use the Diablo programmer. The Diablo has better tunes than the other programmers. What size lift do you want?

Nice, well maybe you could help me with that I think I want to do 3" inch lift but I'm not sure what size tire would be ideal. I don't want to much tire and same way on the other end I don't want to small of a tire

With a 3" lift you and run a 285/70-17, thats a narrow 32"-33" tire. It will fill the wheel well.
